Creamy Asparagus Chicken Pasta 🍝

This meal was just so good I can’t believe I haven’t made it before!

For the chicken:
1. Pat dry and then season with black pepper, salt, paprika and onion powder
2. Warm about two tablespoons of avocado oil in a pan and cook chicken through. Typically will take about 14 minutes

While the chicken is cooking:
1. Wash and cut your veggies – I used asparagus
2. Boil your gluten free pasta! I use eatbanza

Sauce
1. Once the chicken is cooked through, add 1 cup of chicken stock, chopped asparagus and 4 minced garlic cloves
2. Bring the broth to a boil and then let it simmer and remove the chicken
3. Add 1/2 cup chive cream cheese, 1/4 cup heavy cream and basil leaves – mix together
4. The sauce should start to thicken up – I let it boil for about two minutes and then added in my pasta and chicken

-I’ve started cooking my chicken in chicken broth – whether it’s in a pan on the stove or being baked in the oven- and it comes out so much more juicy 🤪

-If you’re doing low carb, don’t do the pasta!
