Such a delicious and quick sweet treat for when you’re having a sweet tooth (something I have every night)
•I honestly did not know how this would turn out because I didn’t know if I liked dates but I have been seeing a lot of the accounts use dates in healthier dessert recipes and thought it was worth a shot!
•I took a cup of dates and put them in a bowl with warm water so they would soften up.
•While I did this, I took about 1/2 cup of traderjoes coconut flakes and baked them for 6 minutes on 350. I am not a huge fan of coconut but if you are definitely fan up it to 1 cup!
•I added the dates to a blender and blended them, added the coconut, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 2 tablespoons of traderjoes Almond Butter, a sprinkle of salt and a sprinkle of cinnamon and blended.
•I made them into little balls and then put them in the freezer overnight. You could wait 30 minutes but I had carrot cake so I waited.
•I melted lilys_sweets chocolate chocolate chips and drizzled it over and they are SOOOO good!
